Kindest Eyes
The door has cracked open,
I peeked in to see the visitor.
He stood there,a kindly vision.
He did not try to come in,
after all,this house had nothing to offer him.
He did not turn away,
He just stood there,as if waiting.
He smiled at me,those kind eyes crinkling
and I opened the door for him
He walked in,
and with him came the sunlight.
